Engineering Systems Documentation

Accurately locating and managing information on the main components of engineering systems can be an arduous and time-consuming task. Outdated information on such systems adversely impacts the efficiency of plant operations. This can lead to serious code violations, while risking the safety of patients, guests, and employees, particularly in the case of specialty systems such as medical gases.
ATG, along with its engineering partners, can field verify and gather essential information on the main components of engineering systems. The process can extend to more in-depth work such as the development of mechanical and electrical riser diagrams.
After all information has been collected and processed, it is then integrated with the appropriate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components of ATG’s Enterprise Active Visual System®, with its highly intuitive web-based technology, hosted directly by ATG. This allows healthcare executives and managers to have access to a full range of facility-related information without requiring any purchase of software or hardware.

ATG’s Mobile Technologies are also used to develop applications for inspection and management of MEP systems, including MedGas-Live™ by Praxair used for the inspection and management of medical gases systems.
Using the AVS, engineering system elements such as those for medical gases are easily located via CAD layouts, while a wide variety of reports (such as that seen below) can be generated with the simple click of a button.
