Life Safety Management

Life Safety Manager™

Life Safety Manager (LSM) is the next generation mobile device-based Enterprise software solution from ATG, developed to manage and maintain Joint Commission life safety elements and other general life safety devices.

Life Safety Manager is based on Microsoft .net technology and runs on devices such as Tablet PCs, iPads, and Pocket PCs. The front-end of the application was written using Microsoft Compact Framework. Synchronization is accomplished using Secure Web Services and the back-end engine is a SQL Server database.

Once synchronized, users can access the web-based LSM Control Panel, which is part of the ASP Web Portal, to manage their SQL Server database as well as run intelligent reports. The Pocket PC version of Life Safety Manager supports generic barcode scanners and  the futuristic R.F. ID readers.

Utilizing our  Enterprise Active Visual System® (AVS), the LSM Database can be fully synchronized with your facility's CAD files, permitting full access to the location and condition reports of the devices from within the CAD layout, without requiring CAD software.

Statement of Conditions

ATG's Statement of Conditions (SOC) application uses various different components of the AVS to generate and deliver accurate asbestos information crucial to effective facilities management and planning.

The SOC application consists of the following components:

  • CAD Layouts
Uses ATG’s backend technologies CCM Plus™ for AutoCAD and CCM Plus™ for Revit to create visual layouts. Also utilizes the CAD management engine of the web portal to display visual layouts without CAD software.

  • Reports
Uses ATG’s web portal reporting engine to create unique, customized reports with metadata relevant to each client.

  • Data Editor
Uses ATG’s web portal CAD management engine to provide the ability for the end user to edit CAD data without requiring CAD experience. The CAD management engine synchronizes with ATG’s backend technologies to keep changes up-to-date.

  • Hatch Queries
Uses ATG’s web portal hatching engine to highlight certain sections of floor plans based on query parameters and create a visual report.

  • Chart Queries
Uses ATG’s web portal charting engine to create visual reports. These visual reports can be created in various formats such as bar charts, pie charts and stacking diagrams.
