Enterprise Active Visual System®
Enterprise Active Visual System® (AVS) is a collection of all ATG technologies under one umbrella. It is subdivided into three subcategories as follows:
Application Service Provider (ASP) Web Portal - A collection of ATG's web-based solutions. The majority of ATG's clients use this as the gateway to access their facility information.
Back-end Technologies - The CAD/BIM-based technologies used to create visual layouts and the database they connect to. One of the most important is CCM Plus™, a powerful and robust Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) Solution. CCM Plus is offered in two distinct product versions—one based on AutoCAD and the other based on Revit 3D.
Mobile Technologies - Next generation mobile devices such as Tablet PCs, iPads, and Pocket PC are a part of ATG's Enterprise software solutions for data collection and inspection purposes in the field.
Every user benefitting from ATG's services and solutions are provided a unique username and password to access their facility information. Authenticated users can perform a variety of tasks, such as printing and viewing floor plans, running reports, and editing data, all via a web browser.
While ASP Web Portal acts as a front-end, back-end technologies like CCM Plus and Life Safety Manager™ facilitate the creation and population of data. Thus, a user accessing information is utilizing the entire AVS—encompassing all three subcomponents—and not just the ASP Web Portal.
