Mobile Technologies

ATG's mobile technologies are Pocket PC and Tablet PC-based Enterprise software solutions for data collection and inspection purposes in the field.

These solutions are based on Microsoft's .net technology, written using Microsoft Compact Framework, and run on Windows CE-compatible Pocket PCs. The Pocket PCs used by ATG support generic barcode scanners and futuristic R.F. ID readers.

Tablet PCs are also used in cases where the client needs a richer interface in the field. Tablets allow users to load and interact with visual layouts, while still in the process of collecting data.

Data synchronization is accomplished using Secure Web Services with a SQL Server database serving as the back-end engine. Once data is synchronized, users can access a web-based control panel as a part of the ASP Web Portal to manage their SQL Server database, as well as run intelligent reports.
